Beaming is a niche Internet and Telecommunications Service Provider, run from a Network Operations Centre in Hastings. Although our customers know our staff by name, our combined expertise and capability in the telecommunications industry would give a larger brand cause for thought.

As a company we specialise in delivering high quality, innovative voice and data products to businesses, serious about service. We design, implement and manage resilient company networks, allowing customers to concentrate on their core business without unnecessary IT infrastructure distractions

Beaming was founded in 2004 and literally started out from a garden shed in Sussex. After the launch of its highly competitive and innovative broadband products, the business subsequently moved into the Creative Media Centre in Hastings and began to employ local staff. Beaming expanded into the Innovation Centre in St Leonards on Sea in 2006 and then in 2008 set up its Network Operations Centre at 1 Maunsell Road.

Sonia Blizzard is the Managing Director and founder of the company. She is keen for other women to work in technology companies and encourages others to set up their own businesses, having in the past served as a SEEDA Women’s Enterprise Advocate. Sonia is also keen for other businesses to see the value of operating from the Hastings area and actively encourages organisations to look at what Hastings and Bexhill has to offer in terms of recruitment, culture and general wellbeing.

Beaming is proud of its Hastings roots, plays an active role in the local Chamber of Commerce and has strong relationships with the University Centre Hastings, Sussex Coast College and local schools for whom Beaming provides work experience placements. All members of staff are encouraged to take part in career days at schools, support local charities and events and take pride in what they have achieved with Beaming. In return, Beaming is committed to providing excellent training in all aspects of the business.
